Event Media: From Meeting News to What’s Next

With 2025 meetings in full swing, TriStar’s event media team is seizing new opportunities to build on past successes with our long-standing partners. At the same time, we’re launching fresh collaborations and finding innovative ways to serve our association partners and engage their members.

TriStar’s story began more than two decades ago with medical meeting news coverage, and that legacy remains a cornerstone of what we do. But our work has grown far beyond the convention floor. Today, our services include year-round news products and custom clinical content that keep association members and healthcare professionals informed and engaged long after the meeting ends.

In our early years, meeting news lived exclusively in print—most often as daily newspapers distributed on-site at convention centers across the country. While printed publications still have their place (our award-winning meeting magazines are proof), our focus today is on an integrated, multichannel approach that blends digital, print, and social media for greater flexibility and reach.

This multi-pronged event media strategy revolves around our custom meeting news websites, supported by strategically timed emails that highlight the meeting’s top headlines. Here are just some of the news sites we’ve created and managed for our association partners in the last year:

 AACR Annual Meeting News

ATS Conference News

ADA Meeting News

ILCN News

CHEST Daily News

ACR Convergence Today

SABCS Meeting News

Our award-winning content team includes designers, photographers, and web producers working in close coordination with our news editors and medical writers. Together, they bring a unique mix of journalism, scientific expertise, marketing, social media, and digital publishing to support both event-driven and year-round communications, including daily aggregated news emails and custom educational content tailored to diverse healthcare audiences.

Medical meeting news will always remain a central component of our custom content offerings. It’s where we built our reputation, and we like to think nobody does it better. But we also recognize that many healthcare associations want more. That’s why we’re so energized by our robust content services that extend far beyond the annual meeting.

As healthcare associations’ needs evolve, TriStar is ready with the expertise, scale, and vision to meet them.
